Senator Buckner and Senator Danielson, co-prime bill sponsors, presented Senate Bill 22-185, which extends the Area Agency on Aging Grant Program within the Department of Human Services indefinitely, renames the program to the Strategic Investments in Aging Grant Program, which allows additional entities to apply for the program, and expands the use of funds to include community assessments, data collection, and research, as well as pilot programs and demonstration projects.
