prime sponsor, presented Senate Bill 22-082 which requires the Division
of Administration in the Department of Public Health and Environment to
analyze data published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The
purpose of the analysis is to identify geographical areas in which hazardous
air pollutants have the greatest negative effects on human health and then
to propose a rule to the Air Quality Control Commission to address these
areas. The division will also create and publish a map showing areas where
hazardous air pollutants have the greatest potential for causing chronic
human health effects.
