and Armagost, prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 25-281. The bill adjusts
penalties for persons convicted of careless driving to make each individual
seriously injured or killed in a careless driving event a separate violation.
Representative Espenoza explained the effect of the bill and discussed
its need. Representative Armagost provided further input on the merits
of the legislation
