Ms. Altmann gave an overview of Metropolitan State University (MSU) Denver and Colorado School of Mines (Mines) requests as they were submitted and the collaborative request being submitted.

MSU Denver and Scool of Mines presented on their budget requests which can be accessed here: https://leg.colorado.gov/sites/default/files/images/2._msudmines_presentation_slides.pdf.  Janine Davidson, Darius Jack, and Nick Pisentis, MSU Denver, gave an overview of the university's Network Infrastructure Modernization project. Nick Pisentis, MSU Denver, and Andrew Moore, Mines, gave a more in depth overview of the collaborative request. The institutions explained that Mines has separate needs from MSU Denver and Mines would like to pause requesting funding to better address their needs. The committee asked questions about both institutions' current project status and about accessibility on the new platforms. Additionally, the committee asked for more information about how the request has changed since the institutions decided to not collaborate. Mr. Moore gave more information on why Mines decided to pause their funding request.
