Senator Woodward,
bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 22-118. The bill modifies certain statutory
provisions that apply to solar energy so that they also apply to geothermal
energy systems. It also directs the Colorado Energy Office to develop basic
consumer education materials about leased and purchased geothermal installations.
Witness testimony was heard on the bill during the February 22, 2022 meeting.
