Senator Foote, chair, made introductory remarks to the committee.

Senator Coram and Senator Fields, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 19-020. The bill requires the Center of Excellence for Advanced Technology Aerial Firefighting (Center of Excellence) to study and, if feasible, implement a system to patrol the airspace above a wildland fire.
