Senator Smallwood, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 22-1227. The Work Force Advisory Group was established in 2012 to provide recommendations regarding healthcare professional licensure data. The Department of Regulatory Agencies’ Sunset Report determined that the advisory group has achieved its statutory purpose and has not met in several years, and recommends allowing it to repeal in statute. Senator Kolker, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 22-1214. This bill requires crisis system facilities and programs, including walk-in centers and mobile crisis programs, to meet minimum regulatory standards that include mental health and substance use disorder standards. Additionally, this bill clarifies that mobile crisis services and walk-in center services can be provided to youth without parental or guardian consent.
