Hinricksen introduced Senate Bill 22-118.  This bill modifies certain
statutory provisions that apply to solar energy so that they also apply
to geothermal energy systems. It also directs the Colorado Energy Office
to develop basic consumer education materials about leased and purchased
geothermal installations.  The sponsors answered several committee
questions regarding the fiscal note.

SB22-119 - Amended, referred to Senate Appropriations

Winter introduced Senate Bill 22-119.  The bill changes the Conservation
Easement Tax Credit program to create a new transferable tax credit for
previously disallowed tax credits and an ombudsman and arbitration process
to resolve disputes concerning the distribution of the credit among affected
parties. The sponsors answered several committee questions.  Written
testimony may be found in Attachment I.
