The bill transfers the issuance of permits for the transportation of hazardous materials by motor vehicles from the Public Utilities Commission to the Department of Transportation. Senator Hisey responded to questions from the committee regarding the bill's fiscal impact.

the bill.  Captain John Hahn, Colorado State Patrol (CSP), testified

materials.
