02:08 PM -- Sunset Review Landscape Architects Professional Licensing Act



Saul Larson, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), introduced himself and discussed the current regulatory oversight of Landscape Architects. Members of the committee received a copy of the Sunset Report (Attachment A). Mr. Larson discussed the recommendations in the report. He responded to questions from the committee.

David Sprunt, American Society of Landscape Architects Colorado, spoke in favor of continuing the regulation of landscape architects. He provided a handout to the committee (Attachment B). He responded to questions from the committee.

02:23 PM -- Sunset Review Motor Vehicle Dealer Board and the Regulation of Powersports



Joe Neguse, Executive Director, DORA, introduced himself and discussed recommendation number four of the Sunset Review of the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board. He provided a handout to the committee (Attachment C). Mr. Neguse responded to questions from the committee.

Mr. Larson discussed the regulation of motor vehicles and power sports vehicles and reviewed the additional recommendations of the report. The committee received a copy of the Sunset Report (Attachment D). Mr. Larson responded to questions from the committee regarding the recommendations.

Todd O'Connell, Colorado Independent Auto Dealers Association, spoke in opposition to recommendation number four. He responded to questions from the committee.

Mary Kay Hogan, Colorado Auto Brokers Association, discussed a technical change in recommendation 12.

Tim Jackson, Colorado Auto Dealers Association, spoke about the recommendations of the report. He responded to questions from the committee.
