HB18-1188 - Amended, referred to the Committee of the Whole

Rep. Jackson introduced House Bill 18-1188. The bill allows CDOT to use location information derived from a motor vehicle's communication with transportation infrastructure for the purpose of facilitating and managing traffic. This bill does not allow CDOT to use non-public information, derived from communication between motor vehicles or between a motor vehicle and the vehicles manufacturer without a legal order.  Rep. Jackson distributed amendment L.001 [Attachment C] and a handout [Attachment D].  She answered several committee questions.
