Secretary Jena Griswold, Colorado Secretary of State, presented to the committee. She provided a handout to the committee (Attachment A). She introduced members of the Department of State staff. Secretary Griswold discussed expanding automatic voter registration, election access, and campaign finance reform.

Secretary Griswold answered questions from the committee regarding the costs related to expanding the operation of voter service and polling centers to include Sundays. She answered questions about campaign finance reform.  Secretary Griswold highlighted that campaign finance reform would include addressing disclosure, coordination, and enforcement. She answered questions regarding the registration of lobbyists pertaining to the legislation on which they are lobbying.

Ki'i Powell, Department of Human Services, and Jean Robinson, Department of Revenue, presented the report on the use of electronic benefit transfer cards (Attachment B).  Ms. Robinson answered questions regarding the transactions that take place at liquor stores.
