HB22-1292 - Amended, referred to the Committee of the Whole

Representative Lindsay, prime bill sponsor, presented House Bill 22-1292, concerning expanding the uses of money in the State Dental Loan Repayment Fund to include oral health programs administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Under current law, the Dental Loan Repayment Program Fund receives 1.0 percent of Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement deposited to the Tobacco Litigation Settlement Cash Fund. This bill renames the fund as the Dental Loan Repayment and Oral Health Programs Fund and expands the use of the money in the fund to include oral health programs within the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
