Representative Jodeh and Representative Michaelson Jenet, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 22-1077, which creates the Colorado Nonprofit Security Grant Program for qualified nonprofit organizations at high risk of a terrorist attack who applied for but did not receive a grant from the federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program. Representative Michaelson Jenet and Representative Jodeh responded to questions from the committee.

Representative Michaelson Jenet and Representative Gonzales-Gutierrez, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 22-1056, concering emergency temporary care for children. The bill allows counties to create emegency temporary placements for children in the child welfare system and children who have contact with law enforcement. Representative Michaelson Jenet discussed amendment L.001, which strikes everything below the enacting clause, and amendment L.002 (Attachments C and D). The bill sponsors responded to questions from the committee.
