bill adds advanced practice nurses with prescriptive authority to the list
of professions that can receive level I accreditation in the Colorado workers'
compensation system.

Representative McKean, bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 19-021 to the committee.  The bill removes the requirement that the State Board of Health approve retention of counsel when either the Department of Public Health and Environment or any county or district board of health become involved in a legal action.  Representative McKean responded to committee questions.
