Representatives Buck and D. Valdez presented House Bill 19-1088 to the committee.  The bill, which was previously heard in House Rural Affairs, extends the income tax credit for health care preceptors working in health care professional shortage areas through 2024.

Valdez presented House Bill 19-1089 to the committee and distributed amendments L.001, L.002, and L.004 (Attachments D, E, and F, respectively).  The bill exempts medical debt from garnishment if an individual's family is under 400 percent of the current federal poverty guidelines.
