Representatives Kraft-Tharp and Van Winkle introduced Senate Bill 18-067. Under the bill, organizations holding a special event permit for an event held on either licensed or unlicensed premises may auction sealed containers of alcohol for off-premises consumption, for fundraising purposes.  The permit holder, and licensee or person on whose premises the event is held must ensure that auctioned alcohol remains sealed at all times while on the premises.

The bill changes how multi-state corporate income taxpayers apportion income from the sales of services and intangible property to Colorado. A handout was distributed to the committee [Attachment A]. HB18-1227 - Amended, referred to the Committee of the Whole

Represenatives Herod and Wist introduced HB 18-1227.  The bill requires the Real Estate Commission in the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) to issue initial real estate licenses that expire on a specific date, December 31, rather than on the licensee's anniversary date.  It also grants the commission rulemaking authority to establish procedures that facilitate the transition of a reinstatement license period to the same specific date. Amendment L.001 was distributed to the committee [Attachment C].
