Under current law, only hotel and restaurant, tavern, and lodging and entertainment liquor licensees or the licensee's registered manager may purchase alcohol beverages for the licensed premises. Under the bill, an employee or agent of the hotel and restaurant, tavern, or lodging and entertainment licensee may also purchase alcohol beverages for the licensed premises.

The bill, recommended by the Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Reform Commission, allows the board of directors of the Fire and Police Pension Association (FPPA) to develop, maintain, and amend a multi-employer deferred compensation plan document.
