Ariel Bowdon, representing Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), explained the purpose of FCCLA, which is to promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education.

Dominique Perri, representing FCCLA, discussed traffic safety programs sponsored by the FCCLA and others in which middle and high schools students participate.

Shelby Norris, representing FCCLA, spoke about Teen RSA, which engages teens in road safety in their communities through the evaluation of intersection. She provided statistics for traffic safety around schools. She responded to questions from the committee.

In response to a committee question, all three young women explained why they chose to focus on traffic safety for their presentation.
