By January 1, 2025, the CDHS is required to contract with community-based organizations to distribute short-term assistance payments to survivors of abuse for stable housing. Recipients must also be eligible for assistance provided by the Colorado Works Program. The bill appropriates $2.0 million annually for the program from the Colorado Long-Term Works Reserve from FY 2024-25 to FY 2028-29.
