Bryan Jameson, Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, presented the 2018 Sunset Review: Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (sunset reviews may be viewed online at https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/dora-oprrr/node/143196/).

Yelana Love, Office of Legislative Legal Services, presented the draft bill LLS NO. 19-0375.01, concerning the continuation of the Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (Attachment A).

Wendy Miner, Colorado Groomers, testified in support of the draft bill. She addressed Administrative Recommendation 1 proposed in the sunset report and the concerns that groomers have with this recommendation.

Lynn Gerber, Two are Better than One, testified in support of the draft bill.

Roland Halpern, Colorado Voters for Animals, testified in support of the draft bill.

Cheryl Saipe, Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare, testified in support of the draft bill.

Janet Stephens, Colorado Federation of Dog Clubs, testified in support of the draft bill and discussed concerns about the importation of pets from foreign countries.  Attachment B
