Under certain conditions, this bill allows a board of county commissioners or a city council to reduce or waive delinquent property tax interest payments, and provide assistance to local taxing jurisdictions. Senator Sonnenberg explained the effect of the bill and discussed its need. Discussion ensued regarding some amendments placed on the bill in the House of Representatives.
