Megan Waples, OLLS, testified before the committee concerning the memo and bill draft to repeal sections of the "Uniform Election Code of 1992" authorizing certain 17-yr-old individuals to vote in primary elections, along with other implementing requirements, as they contradict the language of artice VII, section 1, of the Colorado constitution, which was amended by the passage of Amendment 76 at the 2020 election.

After discussion, the committee asked Ms. Waples to return with further information for the committee to consider at their next meeting.
