Van Winkle, Legislative Council Staff, described the fiscal note process

in the wildland urban interface (WUI). Committee discussion ensued. Representative

in the WUI.

regarding strengthening the workforce and certification and training in

and to create a grant program to conduct fire mitigation using heavy machinery.

health.

discussion ensued. Vaughn Jones and Joel Malecka, Division of Fire Prevention
and Control, came to the table to comment on fire investigations. Mr. Jones
