Senator Donovan,
bill sponsor, presented House Bill 21-1307.  The bill creates the
Insulin Affordability Program in the Department of Regulatory Agencies
(DORA). Beginning January 1, 2022, the program allows eligible individuals
to receive a 12-month prescription for insulin for no more than a $50 copay
for a 30-day supply and an emergency 30-day supply of insulin once per
12-month period for no more than a $35 copay.
