Application for Exemption from Audit

Any local government may apply for an exemption from audit if revenues or expenditures for the fiscal year are not more than $750,000.  This means that neither revenue nor expenditures can exceed $750,000 in the fiscal year.

If either revenues or expenditures are $100,000 or greater, but not more than $750,000, please use the Long Form. 

If both revenues and expenditures are less than $100,000, individually, please use the Short Form.

Application to Request for Extension of Time to File Audit

Local governments may submit a Request for Extension of Time to File Audit no later than 7 months following their fiscal year end.

School districts may submit a Request for Extension of Time to File Audit no later than 6 months following their fiscal year end.
